Seriously, is it more paperwork and so wires are cheaper? Direct deposit is free on the banks end, so why not?

Every damn wire is 15 bucks plus another 15 from the bank. Thats 120 a month. Not much at all but damn, its a decent dinner that I wouldnt mind having.

WHY costly wires and not free direct deposit?

Direct Deposit would be nice, faster too. Not that wires don't come in quickly now, just DD is faster and cheaper. Over a year that is a lot of money saved.

You get daily direct deposits with MID merchant accounts.

Add that to lower rates and improving your profit margin it may be something to consider ;)

Well it isn't always just 30$ . . . for us, with 2 billing companies paying out weekly. Thats 60$ / week. Our paycom wires usually come in pairs (im not sure why) . .so usually thats 3 wires / week. We get charged by our bank for incoming wires (lame) and the billing companies take their cut too. This really adds up.

It's not like the wire fees are going to break our bank or anything, but I can think of better ways to spend that 300-400+ / month.

Exactly, thank you. 2 billing companies and 3 sponsors who do wires, thats hunderds a month for me.

That's a lame attitude. Its called being efficient. Why spend $120 a month when you can spend $0? I used to pay someone via Western Union and it drove me nuts because so much money was wasted every payment.
