Why the king? You'd think that is some big powerful piece but in reality it's only as valuable as the ones surrounding (protecting) it. Without all the other pieces the King would'nt take the victory.

Without going into too much detail - at this point I can see either BIG things on the horizon or complete and utter stupidity, just waiting it out to see if I should utilize the pieces closest to me (my own projects/things that I was doing when self-employed) to at least get a stalemate (break even) after this big life adjustment.

To the King; the only hope is not for the outcome to turn out right, but the outcome that makes the most sense.

I was looking at it from my own perspective - the opposing player being personal defeat. I don't know about anyone else.

mmm well it depends on how you look at the question...
sure there's only 32 pieces on a chess board (counting both sides)...so 98.5% of this board wouldnt even be on the chessboard...so what's the point...

or, you can just say: if I compare my attitude (in this business) to a chess piece...which one would it be!... in which case, you could be on the board! Happy?? :winkwink:
