someone tried to hypnotize me on Chauncey Hayden's show when he was on eyada.com It didn't do shit to me, but the stripper I was with was highly suggestable. I really wanted to be hypnotized too. I was upset that it didn't work on me. Yes, it does work on some people.

It is not something to be done at shows etc but in a peaceful place.. my friend could quit smoking after a few sessions... another lost a lot of weight just being able to eat half of what he used to.. a third one could get rid of her posttraumatic panic disorder.

Some people go into with the attitude (either consious or unconsious) of "let's see if they can really do this", which is setting them up for failure because you are really going against the flow and not letting yourself go under. If you are open to it and let go, and really want to go under, you may experience a light trance. The stuff you see on stage is usually the person being hypnotized wanting to not embarrass themselves by ruining the show. They are in enough of a trance to do the things they are told to do. It's like when you are a little drunk and you act much sillier than you normally do, but you're not so drunk that you don't know what you are doing.
I've done it a few times and it can be a lot of fun. Plus, there are some things that can be done with hypnosis that can really be fun in the bedroom. Imagine if your girlfriend or boyfriend is pretty traditional when it comes to sex, but they are into getting hypnotized. You could tell them that they are a prostitute or a stripper and if they are into it, you might find that it gives them the permission to act in ways that they normally would find inappropriate. Besides, wouldn't that also feel for you a little like being with someone other than your gf or bf for the evening? Kind of like cheating with permission? There are so many ways this can be used. Just some info for you all from your friendly neighborhood perv.
