First off, one of the reasons Carter is remembered so poorly is because he couldn't resolve the hostage situation, and we later found out that GB 1 and Ronald Reagan were in constant communication with them. do you know the meaning of a democracy? Its what all western countries are. In a democracy people can vote for their president/prime minister. The US is a democracy. So when you look objectively to the word 'democrat', every single citizen in the US is a democrat.
