quiet -- my deepest condolences to you and your family.

If she doesn't realize that right now it's not about her, that this is the time that you need support and consideration, well then I don't think she deserves to be with you for the good times.

my deepest condolences to your family

In this case, the problem = She's a psycho.

A lot of them are psychos. I don't understand how some people can live with psychos even if the pussy is good.

It has nothing to do with relationships. Go find a girl with a touch of reality and a soul.

And mes condoléances for your mom.

Sorry to hear about your Mom!

You say, you have only been seeing this girl for a few months....and she's acting like this! Wow, I would wonder, WHAT could she handle! She seems very co-dependent.
I had a friend like this once, one time I went to her house, as I pulled up..I seen all the blind were pulled up, she was pacing the floor with phone in hand. I was like "wtf is wrong" her boyfriend of 2 months was 10 mins. late from work, LOL!

I will say, they are married with 2 kids now,but he seems very unhappy.
If she wants to freak on this, she might not be the right one for you!

XOXO
Be strong for you and your father!

Long weekend in canada? What's the holiday?

webhoward 07-27-2005 07:37 AM

Quiet-
Sorry to hear about your mom. This chick doesn't deserve you & most importantly- you don't need her insecure shallowness in your life---especially now.
You are going to need some time to move passed this rough spot in your life.
What you need is support. Get rid of her---there are plenty of human beings more worthy of your attention.

All the Best

It takes a very special man to put his own life aside and devote time and energy to a grieving father.

It also takes a special woman to recognize these wonderful qualities in a man.

It sounds to me like you have a wonderful relationship with your father and that's an enviable thing. These types of 'special times' can never be replaced and will warm your heart & memories forever.
have a great time with your dad quiet - the rest will take care of itself

condolences on your mothers passung

yup

blood is thicker than water, remember that. fuck what she wants & thinks, live for yourself & your family. sorry to hear about your mom! :(

Kassidy 07-27-2005 09:09 AM

Any woman who acts like that in these circumstances isn't worth it. It's a blessing in disguise, unfortunately. It's better that you find out she's a selfish bitch early and not after you have a couple of kids. She deserves the boot.

Sorry about your Mom :(

Relationships = huge pain in the ass. Save your money, time and effort. Learned this the hard way quite a few times.

she was not worth it then :2 cents: your family will always be there for you.

Pete-KT 07-27-2005 09:10 AM

If she thinks she is more important then family tell her TO FUCK OFF

If she can't understand that type of situation why are you even speaking to or thinking about that empty shell of flesh trying to pass herself off as human?

:helpme

Good riddance I'd say...

PS: Sorry to hear about your mother

Sarah_Jayne 07-27-2005 09:26 AM

she isn't worth it...anyone who really loves you will follow you or give you a warm welcome when you return

CDSmith 07-27-2005 09:32 AM

She's obviously a pretty selfish person Quiet. Don't "be done with relationships" just yet.... just find a woman who has an ounce of caring in her who will care more about you than herself in this kind of situation.

And, I'm not saying you're fixated on looks, but I find that so many people these days are. Fact is there are plenty of non-supermodels out there who have other redeeming qualities and who aren't all self-serving bitches. It is those kinds of girls who make the best partners.

It's great if you can find a super hot looking babe who is also kind, caring, giving and compassionate, but those are rare to the point of it being like winning the lottery.

As for the girl, if she can't understand your father's need for his kids to be close to him and the responsability you feel towards your family in their time of need, then she needs to be alone until she realizes that the world doesn't revolve around her.

very well said :thumbsup

well here in BC it's BC Day on Monday, and I think it's provincial days across Canada too

quiet - I'm sorry for your loss.. I hope you find some comfort through the rough times, having a parent pass on is tough to get through.. best wishes to you man

Adam 07-27-2005 09:57 AM

First of all, very sorry to hear about your mom! Secondly, if a girl starts to act like that, after your mom passes away, she needs to go man! I mean, you sound like a nice guy, and especially after going through something like that, if she was the one she would have been supportive of you and understranding, shes obviously not, so move on bro, thats the best thing to do IMO!

Awww.. We learn something new everyday on GFY.

That holiday is not everywhere in Canada (That's why I have never heard of it before) See Below ->

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civic_Holiday

The August holiday

The more commonly-understood definition is that the civic holiday is an annual holiday, celebrated on the first Monday of August in most Canadian provinces.

However, its legal status and name is far from uniform nationwide. Two provinces and one territory do not recognize it at all, and five other provinces do not oblige employers to offer holiday pay on this day, thus making it a civic holiday as described below. This leaves only three provinces and two territories where the first Monday in August is a full statutory holiday and employers are obliged to pay their employees holiday pay.
[edit]

Jurisdictions which have a statutory holiday on the first Monday of August

* British Columbia (British Columbia Day)
* New Brunswick (New Brunswick Day)
* Northwest Territories (Civic Holiday)
* Nunavut (Civic Holiday)
* Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan Day)

[edit]

Jurisdictions which have a civic holiday on the first Monday of August

* Alberta1 (Heritage Day)
* Manitoba (Civic Holiday)
* Nova Scotia (Natal Day)
* Ontario (Simcoe Day)2
* Prince Edward Island (Natal Day)

1 - Albertan employers can opt out of the Family Day holiday in February. If they do, they must treat the August holiday as a statutory holiday.
2 - Some Ontarian municipalities have a different name for the holiday. See Holidays in Canada.
[edit]

Jurisdictions which have no holiday on the first Monday of August

* Newfoundland and Labrador (celebrates Discovery Day on June 24)
* Quebec (celebrates St. Jean Baptiste Day on June 24)
* Yukon (celebrates Discovery Day later in August)

What a fucking selfish bitch ... dump her ass asap

x3guide 07-27-2005 10:11 AM

When I was a young boy my mama said to me, "There's only one girl in the world for you, She probably lives in Tahiti."
I'd go the whole wide world, I'd go the whole wide world just to find her.

TaDoW 07-27-2005 10:30 AM

that's pretty fuckin lame.

women like that ... you don't need em

chase 07-27-2005 10:51 AM

Sorry about you mom, hunny.

As far as the girl goes..better you find out what she's like now than later. Some girls are just too wrapped up in themselves to see beyond their own nose.

Rui 07-27-2005 11:08 AM

Sorry to hear about your mom m8, cant imagine what you are going tru.

As for the girl is that the one that said it was virgin? lol
