I sign up for a program with one specific email address.

I don't promote it for a while and now I'm being spammed offers to sign up for one of the sponsor's site.

I know it's them spamming me because they addressed the email specifically to my real name. For the exception of a few program owners, not very many people in this business have that info.

I won't name anyone...yet. But they know who they are and I say fuck you

Thanks but I think you're missing the point here. Why would a program treat their affiliates like surfers by spamming their sites? It's like saying "you're a webmaster and that's how we got your name but how about you buy some porn from us too?" which is something I find insulting.

I hear you..but that type of shit has been done for quite awhile..I just use the spam filter and no more crap

But they know who they are and I say fuck you __________________ SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
