I would hope they would, but I don't know the kind of recreational time an astronaut has. I also think the recognizable factor with an astronaut is low, so they would have to have some way to let the ladies know who they are without bragging. Since I used to work with them at JSC, I think I can comment here. Yes, they do, if they're single. After training sessions, we used to all get together and go out for dinner and drinks, astronauts included. They would always have the "clingers" around but, at times, some fine, outstanding splittail would waltz up and be willing to do anyone, just for an introduction. It was good to have astronauts as friends in the early 80s.
