2257ware.com is proud to release 2257MAVIS Version 1.3. MAVIS, Model Age Verification and Identification System is a Windows based software application that helps keep you and/or your company compliant in regards to the recently published 18 USC 2257 regulations.
The release of MAVIS 1.3 now provides for the use of the newly released SCAT (Server Content Analysis Tool) to make your 2257 compliance efforts easier than falling off a 'log'...
The SCAT module, available at a specially reduced introductory price of $350.00, will apply astounding speed to your record keeping efforts and literally take months off of your 2257 compliance task. Designed for web sites of any size, the SCAT Wizard walks you through the steps required to completely import your entire web site into MAVIS.
The SCAT module allows you to FTP into your server to retrieve files and associate your models to content during the 7 part import process.
MAVIS is now in a position to spider your web-server (using the SCAT module) and import your content records in a matter of hours or in some cases (such as a smaller web site) in minutes. As an example, Arika from www.ArikaAmes.com was able to complete the entire process in under an hour. She has 6 models, and approximately 40 thousand pieces of content. SCAT was run on her server, and the module output files were imported into and associated with the models as entered by her. The import process took roughly 30 minutes from start to finish, and she now has all the required information as required by the regulations completely searchable with the click of a mouse. All the information generated is stored on her own desktop computer, not on a server somewhere.
MAVIS was recently reviewed by a prominent industry attorney who said in part, "It is my opinion that the MAVIS software meets all the record-keeping requirements of the 2257 regulations, as effective June 23, 2005. The software meets or exceeds all requirements necessary for an investigator to conduct a thorough and comprehensive 2257 compliance examination."
