Too many scammers on Craigslist

It's getting fucking ridiculous.

My gf posted one of her condos for rent a few days ago and keeps getting emails from women claiming to be in Africa (IP address/traceroute checks out, obviously a proxy) wanting to pre-pay 6 months in advance via bank wire (most likely to obtain checking account information and make purchases). Fucking scammers. And they're getting good at it, but they will never learn how to write a proper, professional, email. Pathetic.

No doubt about it. The condo got rented the same day But I still hate the fucking scammers

When i sold a vehicle for a friend, Craigslist was better than carsdirect, cars dot com and all of the printed ads combined. Yeah, there were some scammers, but not more than anywhere else. It was just scaled since the ad got so much looks and attention.
