once it was free
then it was a one time fee
last i heard it was a yearly fee of 600 for an adult site

not sure what it is now but i would check yahoo.com and look around, i'm sure it's posted

are you serious? i dont think it cost money. that would decrease its value 10 fold. the idea of a search engine is to index as much useless information as it can. it woud miss out on far too much.

The Yahoo directory is not a search engine, it's a web page directory. The web search part of yahoo is different. I think it is powered by google.

then i am pretty sure if you get into google you will show up on yahoo web search as well. also if you are in the directory yahoo also shows some of those listings as well under web search. look under the listings and if it's a directory listing it will show the yahoo categorie

i'm no seo expert but i am pretty sure that's the way it is

I never submit my site to yahoo, only to google, but my site still get listed there I dont know why, even more pages are on yahoo than googles.

30% from yahoo
