anyones eyes get bad from workin online all the time?

i've always had 20 20 perfect vision my whole life, but now i cant see smaller print thats far away (like highway signs that are far away, i used to be able to see them clearly).

time to make an eye appointment

I found that giving my eyes rest... just closing your eyes for a few minutes and avoid staring as best as you can, will help improve your vision. Just my personal advice as to what works for me. Also, adjust your view of the screen, like change positions when sitting.. it works out pretty well...

at my age I'm lucky to have a 20/20 vision but I think working to much in a computer will just ruin everything.

Are you working on an LCD or CRT monitor? If CRT, get rid of it and get an LCD.

my eyes were already bad before i even got hooked on computers but my former 100/125 vision got even worse when i started getting hooked on computers even before i got hooked from the Net.. now i think my vision is way over 200...

i agree - the LCDs are much easier on the eyes - nothing less than 20" too

I'm the only one in my family that doesn't eat any of the veggies that are supposed to be good for your eyes - and the only one that can run his monitor at 1900 X 1200 and has 20/20 vision - go figure!
