What percentage do processors normally take as fees?

What's your experience with differentt processors? Looking for those who'd process for European companies.

Depends on the volume you do... CCBill EU starts at 15% or 16% I think. Don't remember exactly, but they take away a nice chunk from our checks anyway

Yeah, I know, but since this wouldn't be a mainstream project I have a feeling they wouldn't take this on.

Fees can vary based on what services are being provided, however, a 3rd party model such as CCBill will take between 12.3% and 16% based on your weekly volume as well as a 5% bank reserve for companies based in the EU region. There are no other bank fees or hidden fees.

http://www.ccbilleu.com/signup.html for more specific info.

let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any way.

In Europe you can choose between ccbill, epoch and verotel, then a few smaller ones. All of those 3 mentioned have similar fees.

Hi,

Our fees are only 1.5% and 15¢ per transaction. The bank charges about 6% on top of that for the merchant account in the EU.

Questions?

Thank you, Mitch Farber

I think it varies all over on percentages, and reserves.

I use http://b-h-e.com, and it's 15%, and no reserve. Just a 2 week delay. So you are 2 weeks in the rears. I've seen other w/ 3-6 month reserves, and percentages both higher and lower. You just gotta shop around.

While low fees and all, I think it's good idea to mention the monthly volume that's required for such an account. Adult merchant account in EU is what, $100k/mo?

3rd party will run you between 12.5 - 16% depending on which company and your volume

Merchant account will run you between 5 - 8% depending on volume and past trans history.

Gottis, no - you can actually get an EU merchant account with very little monthly volume. Its the Asian banks that normally like high volume only.
Heck I even have one bank that allows for startup companies (meaning no past transaction history and startup volume)!

Have questions? give me a shout and I'll answer

You may also want to look at SegPay

They have the BANK hold the funds prior to payout, rather then the processor themselves holding the funds.

iBill has a base rate of 13.69%, both US and Europe, with a sliding scale downward for increased volume. Yes, that is MAXIMUM rate for new clients of 13.69%
We also have a 10% rolling reserve, paid back after 6 months.
Payouts are through our secured payout system, gkard secured, DIRECTLY from the acquiring bank to your account, by ACH (US) or Wire Transfer (Europe)
If you have additional questions please check ibill.com or email me at [email protected]
