Suggested Control Panel For Linux?

I have recently acquired a RedhatLinux server. Only thing is, I don't know anything about linux commands. So, obviously setting up domains and email will be a little bit of bitch for me.

I've heard that you can add a control panel to the front of Linux, to make configuration easy. Any suggestions, and are they easy to install and easy to use?

So far I've heard of Pleske ($99 per month)
Webmin (Free)

Thanks for the suggestions!!

If you use Pleske you are begging for a world of hurt.

Linux is not hard to learn.

All you need is pico (I know thats gay) and a shell. Thats all. I personally do not like xwindows myself. Linux is supposed to dark and uncaring. Not pretty and geared towards the simpleminded like a mac.

Pleske? is that Plesk
Actually I like Plesk it seems to work good I even have it installed on one of my home computers running freebsd just to play with. But the problem with plesk is that it needs to be installed on a server with a new install. If your server already has linux installed you would be better off deleting it and reinstalling it before installing Plesk. If you dont want to do that then their are other programs that you can try.

1) Shameless self promotion: should have gotten a server from EnergyHosting, your life would have been much easier.

2) Useful info: http://energyhosting.com/linuxguide/
look in the commands and basics sections.

Webmin is ok - just be aware of all the security implications though. KNOW what port you are running it on and use ipchains/iptables to seriously restrict access to it. If you don't know what ipchains or iptables is then you really should pull the network plug on that thing
