FX. I drive no one but myself usually so I have no need for alot of room other then driver and front passenger. I got a coupe now with a ton of room but I wanted something that was a bit easier to get in. Also didn't want some big suv that looks like a box and handles like a big boat. Even an explorer is too much for me.

Toolz 07-21-2005 08:31 AM

The FX45 was NICE, in terms of ride/speed/comfort it had all 3 going for it, also not a bad value.

Awesome. It really does look like a great vehicle. I especially like the look of it alot. Had the higher ground clearance of an SUV but still looks very sporty.

Marc - nice collection :)
Looking into either a 70 Road Runner or 69 Super Bee for mine - can't wait to find the right one

Dax 07-21-2005 09:50 AM

No phantom?

Really nice low mileage Super Bee on eBay -- I think it's by Daniel Schmitt -- he has incredibly low mileage classic cars but is asking too much, and he also advertises as "fully restored" when all they did was replace the interior and paint. Hell, one of his "full frame off restorations" didn't even look that good.

I'm looking for a 1962 Impala ... if you find one ...

warlock5 07-21-2005 10:18 AM

How do you feel about the z8?

Yeah - I run into that a lot - to be honest Id rather run into one in somewhat good condition that needs restoration and do it myself - at least I know it will be done right :)

If I see the Impala I will forward it to ya

KRL 07-21-2005 10:35 AM

The lucky car dealer salesmen that walked over to wait on you will all be millionaires too one day.

I gotta ask, with how hard working as you are, how do you find the time to drive that many cars and where do you go in them? Have you ever thought about professional race car driving?

Geez, the most cars I've ever had at one time was 4 and even then I still drove just my Benz sedan or my SUV 99% of the time.

I like keeping things simple in my life and having that many cars to pick from every day would give me a headache just deciding which one to go with.

:1orglaugh

Anyway, congrats! Nice collection.

I'm having a tough time deciding between this and the 2006 GTO. Marc had a 2005, but it seems to be MIA.

Marc please tell me that the GTO is missing from the pics because you're always driving it.

By the way, I love how you can be on a webmaster board where program owners post pictures of millions of dollars of property then go to the next thread and 20 idiot webmasters are saying it's impossible to pay $XX per sale without going bankrupt.

His GTO and my matching GTO are gone. Given that the CTS-V and the GTO now have the same engine it's a matter of what you need, 2 door couple under 30K right now with the GM discount or the 4 door sedan which I think is in the 45K neighborhood with GM discount, personally if I was going to buy another one of these I would go with the CTS-V but I have a car seat need and couples with uber slooooow backseat returns like the GTO aren't my cup of tea.

funny you tell ME that.

but it really SUCKS.

its a piece of shit and not worth half of the money.

triumph 07-21-2005 01:22 PM

Marc, I am curious, do you have insurance for each car? or can you purchase like an umbrella insurance that basically covers all cars?

Let's say around 150k$ and I really like sportscars. Convertible would be nice but no softtops, only hardtops. Right now, I just wanna have a jaw dropping car, I'm young, no kids so an uncomfortable 2 seater is definitely an option :winkwink:

I'm going to say CL 600 or CL 55 Mercedes :)

I'm not saying that at all - traffic doesn't = cars like I have. Revenue that generates profit = cars like I have. It can come from this business or others. I'm showing my cars because people like to look at them and I have a message I'd like to show them and that is $50 BYOT PPS until Aug 14th as well as a new ARS system that out converts the competition :)

I would suggest the ML 500 :)

Each car is insured individually :) $22,000 / annually so not that bad.

Its super fast and it draws more attention than any other car besides the Ford GT (which I'm hinging towards buying). However, its a PAIN IN THE ASS to drive and I got in it maybe 5 times the entire time I owned it.

Anyway, congrats! Nice collection.

Its actually quite easy. My car barn is directly on my property and I have 2 guys who leave, eat, and breath my cars. I always have 3 cars in my house garage and ever other day I take one back and grab another. I like to keep the rotation pretty equal and seasonal. I drive every vehichle at least twice every month. Obviously my wife also drives them so they get a fair amount of use.

I can wait for the new models to hit...I get the GM discount for life :winkwink:

Maybe I should get some tours in the new BYOT program and then you guys can help me pay to buy both.

Without a doubt the Range Rover Supercharged... I think I'm going to dump the Cayenne Turbo and get a 2005 Ford GT :)
