my roomate found like 6 kittens in our backyard. took care of them for about a week than killed them all with his glock 9MM. i wasn't sure what to think about that but i'm a dog person anyway.

Ok status:

Printed up 50 color flyers and have distributed them up to a mile away in all directions. Just in case someone is missing the kitten (doubtfull)
Bought it some canned cat food, seems to like it better than tuna.
Got it a liter box, liter, and a scooper thing. Now I got to figure out the box training (tips would be nice).
There is no flea stuff I could find for kittens under 12 weeks :(

It slept with me last night, insisted on it actually. When I say with I mean it literally had to wrap itself under my chin and next to my ear. By the way kitten claws are damn sharp, specially when it kneeds your neck.

No name yet. Suggestions welcome, cause I am not sure if it can manage to be called little fucker it's entire life.

Fiance finds it adorable, but understands it goes if someone calls for it.

Put the kitten in the litter box and take its paw and make it scratch at the litter. After a few times it should get the hint. Thats what mine did. Good luck with her, she's very cute!!

There's an old saying That goes... "Chinese Obligation" You save it's life, now you are responsible for it.

Take it to the Vet, get it checked out. In a couple of months get her spayed.

Do NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT have her claws removed. This is very cruel and is the equivalent of taking off the last digit of her fingers. You can train her to use a scratching post, and you should start trimming her claws your self when she is young so that she gets used to it. Get the Vet to show you...you just need to take the tiniest little bit off the end with nail clippers.

Show her to use the litter box. (take her over there and put her in the sand. If she poops somewhere else, pick up the poop and her, and put the poop in the litter box, then put her in and stroke her. She will pick it up right away. Cats are good like that.

i got my kitten at 5 months old & started to bathe him & clip his nails once a week and now hes used to both of them. he LOVES being brushed too (which he didnt like before) so the more & earlier you start to do routine grooming, the cat will trust you & know that those things dont harm him. :thumbsup

Just takes a little time and they usually prefer the litter box.Flea stuff isn't required yet,just give it a flea bath and maybe try to keep it indoors.Mine likes her scratching post and never once clawed any of my furniture.she also has a pillow right beside mine where she sleeps every night..they seem to want to be close to you when they sleep

Progress.
The little fucker learned how to pee in the box without much coaxing, that was nice.
Yet I was still on a quest to make it poop. Various advisors told me it should be ready to poop 15 minutes or so after it eats. So round one and I fed it a quarter can of cat food, no poop round one to little fucker. Around a hour latter I gave it half a can of cat food, surely it would have to poop but nooooo lil fucker apparently can eat nearly her body weight without having to deficate, round two to lil fucker. By this time I was wondering if I somehow adopted a cute furry black hole, as it seems whatever it swallowed vanished into some alternate kitten poop universe. I gave in and fed her the remaining quarter of the can, again no damn poop. This kitten has some evil magical powers and now I was really concerned it was going to suprise me with a super load when I was not expecting it.
It was now going on 5pm, it had not dropped any kitten bombs anywhere and it only teased me with the litter box. It would climb in it and pee, or think it was some sandy filled toy and throw litter everywhere. I am not talking scratch it either, I am saying litterally scoop a front paw and throw it over her shoulder.
I was not going to loose this battle and lil fucker was going to shit damn it. It must take a kitten dump before bedtime or I would be forced to make it sleep in the bathtub like a drunk friend who is ready to let loose an explosion of bodily fluids. So with no other choice I opened yet another can of cat food and just plopped it on a plate, the whole damn thing. Low and behold she dived right into it and ate about 80% of it took a few drinks, rubbed on me some and went next to my monitor and passed out.
This kitten had eaten nearly 11oz of food and she could not weigh a pound herself. Had I found Takeru Kobayashi in kitten form?
An hour latter she awoke, rubbed on me some more and went over to the dish and ate the rest of it. Yup she had put away 11 ounces of food. She proceeded to play some more and went tinkle another time, damn tease.
At roughly 9pm she hoped into the liter box and finally took a dump. By this time of course I was expecting a Saint Bernard shit, but nope she just made a small little one and was done. One of two things have happened. Either she does have a wormhole to an alternate kitten poop universe or her kitten model came with a built in food compactor.
We shall see how today goes.

lol, I hope you don't find a mystery dumping site in a few days that the kitty has made good use of.

We have 3 cats and because we keep them indoors at all times, they have never required a flea collar.
