Home Shopping for single guys - Do you get this?

Every place I go, the first thing they ask me before I can barely get through the door, is if I'm married or have a family. I say "no, I'm single"

Then, they're like "OMG, how can you possibly need all this space when you're single?"

I want to say "none of your fucking business! Does every one of you motherfuckers have to ask me the same shit? Is it a crime to be single and want some space?"

Jesus Christ, I'm not looking at mansions, just 3 or 4 bedroom houses with 2000+ sq footage. It's real simple, I work from home, I need to have a bedroom, an office, a recording studio room and possibly a guest room. It shouldn't be such a big deal. </rant>

tell me about it. I go to look at a nice house and the first the the real estate agents ask me is, are you sure you can afford this? this is a nice house and I don't want to show you it unless you are pre-approved for a loan of this type. Gets old fast....

I hate people who are nosy like that. It's none of their business if you want to buy a big house single or not. If someone asked me that I would say "What's it to you? How is this relevant to anything?". That is just horrible and rude service. Some people just don't know how to treat a customer. It's none of their fucken damn business WHY you would need something, if you have the money they should service you.

When people don't service me the way I like I just walk out. Who needs that shit. I hate people that ask questions that are none of their business. Don't be nice and answer them, you don't owe them anything. They should be providing YOU a service not annoy you with stupid irrelevant questions. I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT! GRRRR

yea, married people think they're in some exclusive "club" and can't understand why you haven't joined it yet.

yea, I've gotten that one too. I think I'm getting the married one because I'm looking in the suburbs, "family" neighborhoods, they don't want any of us "singles" in their neighborhoods.
Also, I have long-ish hair and look kind of like I'm in a rock band (which I am) so that probably doesn't help, as everyone seems to be more conservative and 40-60ish. I mean everyone's been pretty cool, don't get me wrong, it's just annoying to get the same questions at every single house.
