this weekend served as the perfect reminder of how blessed we truly are. honestly we had some tough times at the beginning of the weekend and things started looking like crap. but then, as *always*, the world around me decided to prove my bad attitude wrong.

it started with dolphins. Halcyon and i were looking at some video for editing and i spotted dolphins out the window. we dropped everything and he grabbed the camera and snapped a couple shots:

how could you be in a bad mood after seeing something so magical? so sunday we decided to leave our little cocoon of bliss up here and go to the local nude beach to attempt to further decipher this new camera (canon digital rebel xt + accessories) and to work on our full body tans. Halcyon took over 200 pictures and looking through them i really liked this one:

Seriously, I was watching him and he seemed sooooo cool. I would have been freaking a bit. I don't care how groovy dolphins are, with 6 of 'em swimming around that is several tons of wild animal.

Although, maybe its different when you are right there. I've talked to many people who had similar experiences and were extremely calmed by it.
