The age old question.

it depends on the program, how many *house * accounts it has, the duties invloved, experience, contacts, and the biggest one POST COUNT.

POST COUNT= BIG FAT SALARIES! don't be fooled by the haters LOL.

I find that some webmasters like myself make more money at it doing what I love to do behind a stand up company like WebcamCash. I like the fact that im allowed just as much freedom as a webmaster working from home, the ability attened trade shows on thier budget, share idea's with a team and I love working together towards a common goal. I find it very rewarding.

Plus on my free time I can do my side webmasmerting. It's the best job on the planet.

Just a partial list...

* Shave his back
* Clip & file his toe nails
* Light his cigs
* Massage his hands
* Pick out his clothes
* Wash his clothes
* Find things for him to trip balls on
* Clean the goo off his monitors (once an hour)
* Prank Lensman on his cell phone
* Tell him every hour on the hour how big a pimp he is
* Spell check his post bot... (it's a bad bot)

The list goes on, but it beats living in a van down by the river.

Good one!! Thanks for the laugh.....

Could someone tell me exactly what a rep does?

Whats a typical day in the life of a program rep like?

Peaches 07-19-2005 11:58 AM

You can be both a rep and an affiliate ;)

i wake up 6-7ish AM, scratch my balls, get on icq, call a few people no traffic having shitbags, take a nap, wake up, more ball scratching, more shitbag calling, answer a question or two, eat lunch, take a nap, call some people idiots, contact new people to get them to sign up so they too can join in the fun of having me call them shitbags, rub one or two out, eat a snack, stroke my pussy (cat you perverts) take a nap, wake up and ignore everyone who needs help with their accounts while I play video games and watch cartoons. Then I go to bed (round 2am) :thumbsup

Yesterday I put myself into second place all time in the office by doing 54 push-ups. The record is like 65 or something.

My high score on Attack from Mars pinball is 4.3 billion.

Not in all cases (if you own the program, yes. If not you have to set the terms before taking a gig). OH and yes, programs should still pay commissions to their past employee's, but a lot don't. Some even use their employees to gain valuable contacts and then dismiss them while taking said contacts. A lot of shady shit goes on behind the scenes sometimes. I am not sure how much reps get paid, I do know a few that have to rely on a good commission structure to survive.

I meant you could rep a program and still be an affiliate for that program (my WEG account is YEARS old) AND other programs too :)

But yes, a lot of shady stuff goes on too where reps get screwed (not with me and WEG of course, just seen it with other people/companies). :(

It's great that you can still be an affiliate as well as an employee. I know a shit load of places where that is unacceptable. It's like once you start working with them then all you have is theirs...hardly seems fair. And yes, unfortunately, companies do end up screwing their employee's out of hard earned money, although, I guess it can be a catch 22. But I honestly believe that once you started sending your resources to them and if your traffic sources are still sending traffic after your departure that you should still get the residual $$ from that. I learned first hand how companies will fuck you out of $$. I guess I could have just told all affiliates to stop sending to that particular company but I am not that much of a bitch...ah well, I sleep well at night.
