IE6 Problem driving me fuking nuts!

I been trying the past 3 days to clear my autocomplete on IE6. Tried everything, differnt software apps and all no good. Its driving me mad. I click "clear forms except passwords" and the thing just hangs ... anyone know a fix for this

It might not be hanging, it might be working. How long did you give it before you killed the process? I've seen IE take 15-30 mins to clear old cache files and form stuff and all that. Sometimes it looks like it's frozen but if you just leave it alone it eventually comes back.

hmm, maybe but its usually pretty quick at clearing autocomplete.
will give it a go though. I been reading it may be a corrupted cache someplace - looked in the registry though and theirs no typed urls in the software/microsoft folder. And their dont seem to be anyway to kill single entries on the drop down list in the browser.

Enough with the firefox crap. He asked for a solution to a problem. Either you have an ACTUAL answer or you are just being an ashhole.

Anyways try starting your computer in Safe Mode w/Networking and then use the Clear Forms button

Try Window Washer from Webroot. Always works for me, even the free trial before I bought it
