10 Years Ago Next Month - Netscape IPO Anniversary

Great piece, was fun to travel back in time. Can't believe it's been a decade already...

I remember thinking "Well, I'll buy into the IPO at $22, but I'm not paying $28 for some company with zero revenue."

Then it opened and zoomed to $70+ per share, lol. Damnit.

I made a ton of cash when aol bought nscp... Almost as much as the run xla had back in 98 - 99

If you would have told me at the turn of the millenium, when the Nasdaq was at 5,000 points, that five years later it would be mired in the low 2,000s, with no real movement for years, I would have laughed.

Hindsight is so 20/20...

I agree... that is like ppl telling me now that by 2007 the nasdaq will be at 10.000 sounds crazy!
