iBill's Official Blog Launch

http://www.xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=9501

I love how they come out and position this like they are doing it for their clients. They don't mention how every link on that site (and they don't all link to iBill processing sites) have an affiliate code that they are going to get paid on.

Spamming their list of 30 million should make them some cash.

Company President Gary Spaniak Jr. told XBiz that the blog uses iBill?s double opt-in email database of 30 million addresses to deliver G Spot, increasing traffic to those companies featured on the blog and giving clients an added bonus.

Atleast now you can see their true colors. What a bunch of crooks.

They are such a pathetic joke. The site looks like it was designed by a middle school student working there over summer break. Guess someone needs to explain to them what a blog is.

Yeah, I keep a close eye on these fuckers. This just shows me how completely desperate they are for some cash flow.

Beyond the issues with iBill - do you guys think this is a good idea? It seems like a good marketing ploy - suppose CCBill did it - and if they didn't use affiliate links - would you still object?

Being marketing girl, I'm curious.

Put it this way webmasters run their own sites pay for content, traffic, etc, etc. And a processing company thinks its ok to steal information that would not be there had it not been for your hard work? Shit i would be pissed at any company who did this including CCBILL or EPOCH. But knowing these companys im sure they would not do such a thing ?

The idea of a protal type site, purely for the purpose of getting traffic for your clients would not be a terrible idea. However, that is not even close to the case here.

This is an amateur (at best) attempt at building an affiliate porn portal so they can make money spamming the fuck out of their consumer list. Now that is a bad idea, iBill or not.

Let's be realistic. There is nothing left there. They keep talking about the new management. The management is either Jason Galanis (see SEC indictment) or the people from iBid. Has anyone met the iBid guys (Gary Spaniak and Steve Markley)? Absolutely no internet or processing background. Nice guys but frankly they are absolute noodleheads. They couldn't run a lemonaid stand. Everyone that was involved in running the company left after Jason's group came in an imploded the company.

They should send traffic to all old ibill accounts, otherwise it is stealing.
