How do you export animated Gifs in imageready!?!

I have one all drawn up, animated and i cant figure out how the fuck to get it saved as a gif .. I've done this shit a million times before too

I tried file save as, save, and export original


Is it not under files tab??!!?

Because JPG PNG and ... information can't be stored ... saving first frame only


Only options are to save as html there ??? i'm pulling my hair out

Make sure you're saving as gif.
JPG's and PNG's aren't animated..hence you can't save animated jpeg's.

in the optimize menu make sure it is set to gif not jpg. then just file/save for web

Under "Window" in the menu bar, make sure you have selected Show Optimize. By default it is the top pallete on the left side of your monitor.

Select GIF in the settings.

If all else fails, follow the step by step instructions for creating animated GIFs in the Help section.
