KB likes to see and hear his name as much and as loudly as possible. This is no secret. KB is a one of the biggest self promoters I've ever met. Again, no secret. KB rattles cages, KB has worked 100+ jobs, KB rubs some people the wrong way, some people love his candor and take no prisoners approach, KB is a likeable, smart, well spoken and funny guy ... AGAIN, NO SECRET!

KB has also made a lot of people a lot of money. KB has made tons of introductions for people that ended up doing business together. KB has helped work the press on MANY occassions and given media exposure to a number of companies. KB is one of the first people called whenever the press wants to speak to someone from this business about Sex Tapes. KB has built a lot of relationships with members of the press from TV, radio, magazines & newspapers.

Is it so hard to believe that with all that experience, that after all this time - he's hit something worthwhile to him BECAUSE of all the above mentioned?

However, I have been at lunch and just returned. Congratulations on the publication on Yahoo. I think that will turn out to be very valuable for you, but likely not in the way you might think. A scenario where this may be helpful: Let's say someone decides your idea is worth pursuing, takes it, and cuts you out. With the luck you've had with past employers, I wouldn't be surprised if this somehow ends up fucking you over in some way or another. But you now have a mainstream news source to loosely tie you to the project.

Take some screen caps of that Yahoo story and also save it to PDF format. It may come in handy.
