Fire . . . this has been a long time coming

Rancho Palos Verdes has a pretty big brush fire going. This has been a matter of time because they have not had one in so very long . . . . like 20 years probably.

Big time expensive homes up there. This could get interesting.

This could be a really bad year for fires in CA. They say all the rain we got this winter has created a lot more brush and trees. Now that everything is dried out it has the potential to be a huge fire hazard.

Well, I used to work up on the hill, and I always thought it was pretty amazing that they had gone so long without a major brush fire with all the canyons, etc up there.

Fortunately, LA County and LA City fire fighters are pretty good at what they do.

It sounds like it is on Dig420's side of the hill, I wonder how he is doing.
