Advice needed on capture deck (miniDV) - GoFuckYourself.com

Hi guys, maybe somebody can give me some advice in regards to capture decks for miniDV?s. I am looking for something at entry level, at best something that plugs right into my computer (firewire?).

Buy a cheap home minidv camcorder, they all have firewire. Around $250.

Took the words right out of my mouth. That's what most people I know do. NO meed to spend big bucks on a deck.

Well, I am not keen on the camcorder solution, they are also not all that good for the MiniDV...

Any other options... for a real capture deck?
