Is it possible for a host to have 100% Uptime?

It is possible and a very big thanks to Splitinfinity for keeping my servers up and online for the last full year! 100% uptime this past year. Good job Chris! Keep up the great hosting..

Yep... Ever heard of LikeWhoa?? They were 100% or claimed to be, even BP4L approved to be..

That is until they werent anymore.

Print bizz doing fine better then ever ;) Right now I'm working on a 2nd paysite and GeneralAdmission.com wich will be competition to ticket master (they got the monopoly right now in canada for tickets). It will be a portal for show / party organiser where they can get everything done at one place .

After several shocking choices for hosting my site and program I finally made the plunge and moved to a reliable host in www.splitinfinity.com ever since moving to them 6 months ago my site has been super fast and up all the time (apart from that maintanance last month, that we were given plenty of notice for)

I dont believe the maintenance affected your sites. However
it did affect most. :-) One time in almost 11 years is not too shabby
for a planned upgrade. :-)

Hows your sites going? What are you running on the box, can U tell us?

Remember when hosts used to claim 99.99% because they knew better than to ever claim 100%?
Anyway, 100% uptime is not usually about their servers or what you will experience, but about the network connectivity.
