How to host an asp website from home?

I am developing an asp site and it could be a few months before it launches so I want to host it from my computer until launch time. Can anyone guide me through this or link me to a site that will? Google was no help. Thanks!

im using xp pro. Installed iis, but having difficulty. I am using a router with a wireless network adapter. I tried connected to both the router ip and the actual ip but cannot connect. The router ip asks for a username and password
