Well the ones in the $1000 price range look like shit, it's hard to tell what it is. This just a small fragment BUT the grain and texture is unreal on it. I think a full egg with this texture would sell for $5 to $10k easy.

thaifan99 07-12-2005 01:24 PM

How the fokk did they guess that lol................

No shit, I expected this to go 10 pages before someone guessed. GFYers are on the ball today.

kiana 07-12-2005 01:29 PM

Random guess, was just typing first thing in my head, even though I figured an egg would be over a grand

Now how long w/ this thread go w/ people who will keep guessing not realizing there is already a winner? :winkwink:

Choker 07-12-2005 01:46 PM

210 million years old. It's fucking amazing to hold somehting in the palm of your hand that old.

Choker 07-12-2005 01:48 PM

See the texture in it? I bought it because of this. If I ever find a whole one with this much surface detail I will buy it in a heartbeat

aflex 07-12-2005 01:49 PM

what kind of dinosaur was it from

Choker 07-12-2005 01:51 PM

I also picked up this tooth from a Charcharodontossurus from Morocco, it's only 146 million years old

Unknown but it is from Patagonia, Argentina. I will have to research it more and find matches so I can determine what dinosaur it was from.

Choker 07-12-2005 01:54 PM

I picked this tooth up because you can see and feel the serations on the edge of the tooth. It's very rare for serations to be intact on teeh this old.

aflex 07-12-2005 01:55 PM

That is some cool shit. Be sure to keep it in good condition, in another 200 million years, its value may double =]

Choker 07-12-2005 01:55 PM

Here you can actually see the serations
