Who is the most succesful Webmistress?

okay, it is not news that most of adult webmasters are men, but out of the few female webmasters - and I mean the ones running sites, traffic, etc, not performers - who are the most succesful and what are their achievements.
I keep reading about people like thehun, shemp, zilla, choker, to name a few, who are the female playas?????

It is good to know it but then again, I have always been told that there weren't too many, indeed some webmasters get kinda surprised when setting up trades and stuff on icq, when for some reason they detect I am a gal :P

I think that regardless of gender, once you are riding high in the business, you are *probably* less likely to play on the boards or be very visible. I'm sure there are exceptions too.

Who is more driven than a mom to keep a good home, keep her kids in school and well fed? I cant think of another person more motivated to work hard honestly. In general terms. So people shouldnt be surprised is all I'm saying. There are lots of smart, motivated people in this business, and plenty of them are women.

i don't know how much credit Danni Ashe herself deserves - i've heard the story of how her company started - sounded to me like it was her husband who was responsible and she's the 'face' of the company.

I think Suze Randall is probably the most successful woman in this business if Danni Ashe doesn't qualify.

PK is definetely one of the most successful women in the industry and she has been an inspiration to so many people getting into the biz. Danni Ashe has done extremely well for herself as well.

My guess would be that PK had one of the first adult sites, the first link list style site, doing it longer than any other female and makes some pretty good bank role, more than most webmasters do today. I'm not sure if she still does but at one point she did all the work for her site/company, had the #3 ranked traffic site, and is an all around a nice lady..

actually I don't know FF, was giving her an an example.

PK is oldschool, is a nice lady and owns a popular TGP.
But there are probably a few women in this industry who make more than she does.

As far as money goes, Danni from danni.com is the most successful. I doubt she does much webmistress work anymore though. I heard she did in the beginning. Jenna Jameson is also very successful, but I wouldnt consider her a webmistress. I think her husband Jay handles most of her online business.

As far as most successful "real" webmistress, I would go with PersianKitty, because she probably knows html, how to upload files, and do real webmaster work.

Well, there's several differences between PK and myself, but the main one being, I don't actually own any sites. I create pages (yes, I do know HTML etc ) and generate traffic to send to affiliate programs. In fact, I usually don't even renew domains, ha.

I don't know how much PK makes, it's none of my or anyone's business... but she is one of the first and well known.

I've never done any type of modeling, performing, camming, etc myself... so, I'm also not like other webmistresses that maintain their personal sites. I actually started with mainstream in 1997 and started adult in 2000.

I'm virtually a nobody, which is fine by me!

There's several names mentioned in this thread that I have never heard of, to be honest. I guess a lot of successful women (and men) in this industry stay low profile and private as possible. Which is understandable.

a webmistress can be the webmistress and the performer, runnig their own site using them selves as content.

There are lots of females that make really good money, a million plus a year or thereabouts, tons more make half a million a year - and put into perspective, a half million a year is good money especially if your not spending most of it on advertising and affiliates.

As for who makes the most, well, no one will ever know because money is a well kept secret, but generally, if a site has been around a long time, looks like it is doing good, then they probably are.
