Go to the futures. www.interactviebrokers.com start trading the nasdaq minis and sp500 minis. You will love the action. Each point is $50 on the sp500. So you only need 20 contrcts or 100k or so to do $1k a point. They also have dow futures but I never traded them. If you love charts, fibs and resistence, the sp500 is for you.

as to options and futures.. I lost my shirt over many many years of options trading. I want to be able to have time on my side. I am more about capital preservation at this point than gambling it all

YARGH! It's why you'll never succeed. Never get emotional. Don't think in terms of dollars.

If you are disciplined, and have exit strategies in place, you'll be ahead of the game. Lars you would be better playing options on the S&P. They do have longer term options. Gives more time but are more expensive as well.

                        YARGH!

Yeah prolly so, but as a once licenced stock broker and trading stocks for almost 20 years I have a hard time believing anyone can do better. Since less than 10% of the people out there can beat the S&P 500

If I ahd to buy oe I would buy XMSR

                                            http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=SIRI...z=m&q=l&c=xmsr

Its way cheaper than Siri I think they are both overvalued XMSR has more subscribers makes more money and is valued at less Market cap. But I am often wrong on individual stocks thats why I dont play them that often. I think the market oveall is ready to make a nice run up though the last weeks have been very promising !

check out ADST, i got in at .89 ,they just made nasdaq compliance and advertising revenue is steadily going up. They have had a nice run so far but there seems to be more upside

A stock with great potential short term: GCCP.OB

I'm in averaging 0.058 since May and haven't sold a single share yet. I've done a lot of research on this one, spoke with the CEO on several occasions and I can tell you this is a no brainer. Anyway always do your own DD before you buy.

Nice run on that one.....with pennies I really like MSSI, really undervalued IMO, just finished an acquisition. Everyone is basically waiting on revenue projections now, after that gets released it should fly IMO, but then again u never know with pennies :-)

Yes and GCCP hasn't even started yet in my opinion. Most of the shares are held by longs and the float on this one is extremely tight. Once the news hits about profits for the 2nd quarter and it gets decent volume this will see 0.30-0.50+ IMO. I own over 2 million shares and I'm pretty confident this will happen. Anyway enough about this stock

Only had a quick glance at MSSI and it looks good, do you know they have any plans getting rid of Cornell ?

Well I would imagine that is going to happen now that they have new financing in place with Textron. This should be on the short list of things that this company needs to address with a series of PR's that should come out in the next few weeks. The Nurses PRN deal gave this stock a surge last week but no #'s have been provided yet as to the revenue projections (nobody really knows the $$ that PRN does), if that PR comes out and the #'s are favorable we should see .08-0.10 quite fast in my opinion.

Its way cheaper than Siri I think they are both overvalued XMSR has more subscribers makes more money and is valued at less Market cap. But I am often wrong on individual stocks thats why I dont play them that often. I think the market oveall is ready to make a nice run up though the last weeks have been very promising !
