Please forgive me...I've never felt the need to fake an ICQ log but I have backed them up from time to time and even read them right from the log directory as text files. Seems to me that those files can easily be changed then viewed in the program.

Okay, so SOS is making a fool of himself coming back here over and over and over, and he may have stuck a "mug me" sign on his forehead in the first place, but a putz for going public? In all these horribly fascinating threads, I don't recall anything to suggest he was ever going to get the content he ordered.

And SOS may be the least sympathetic "injured party" I have ever come across. It's also clear it suited him to have an excuse to back out of his purchase. But I'm damn sure in a similar situation I wouldn't have parted with any more money until I had my hands on the content I was promised.

There has been a lot, not least SOS's ranting, to cloud the original issue that AaronM did not provide the content that SOS ordered. But I haven't seen that denied, which makes everything since - from both sides - irrelevant bullshit. SOS has made himself look like a clown and AaronM has come across as a big-mouthed assh*le. He has played keyboard warrior just as much as SOS, when if he wanted to stitch SOS up, the smart way - suspecting SOS couldn't pay - would have been to deliver the content that was ordered, then pull the licenses and go after SOS for the balance if he didn't pay.

Aaron, just give it up. To anyone with any common sense, it is obvious you sent him the messages. It's also obvious you will never admit this as you lie when cornered. It is just your personality.

SOS got content. What he did not apparently get was the content he ordered, hence CDSmith writing earlier in this thread that AaronM was at some point "...willing to exchange a portion of your content for stuff more suted to your project". If you want the details, they were in the thread that SOS started here about 6 weeks ago.

It's obvious neither side cares about legalities, only about p*ssing into the wind on here. AaronM was supposed to be paid up front, but set that requirement aside by delivering even though he had not been paid. Then by failing to deliver what was ordered, he became the one to breach their contract. As such, not only doesn't he have any legal basis for chasing the balance, but if SOS had any sense, he would have sued for the return of what he had paid.

Don't get me wrong, SOS isn't clean in this. It seems like he couldn't have paid. But if you sold me a TV advertised as having a remote and delivered it without the remote, that small omission means you have no right to be paid until you put it right. If you think that my circumstances have changed since I placed the order, you have the chance to take the TV back, refund any deposit I paid, and walk away. Otherwise the onus is still on you to complete your end of the deal and then chase me for what I owe.

(not including the 3600 i lost with aaron) into my site... but a lot of that cost was initial startup costs... i.e.. visa fee... forming a corporation and other bullshit.... my next site won't cost nearly as much to start... so 15k roughly with no ROI yet... but launch is soon so wish me luck :thumbsup
