When we painted the master bedroom last one of the cats stepped into the paint roller bucket, walked directly off of the drop cloth into the hallway onto the hardwood floors. It looked so cool when we redid the floors we just varnished over it for a neat effect.

Ha well I should have tried to take pics but the dumbest thing I did was to start this an hour before sunset. I don't have light fixtures in yet so I thought bringing in a lamp and taking off the shade would be enough light.

WRONG!!

I can't tell what was painted and what wasn't unless I run my hand down the wall. I can't wait to see how horrible it really looks in the morning.

And to make it worse, the countertop boards, yes boards, I have no granite on there quite yet, are soaked with water and paint and SHIT!

Yeah anyway the lamp caused major shadows everywhere which Turd LOVES so he kept jumping at the walls and stepping in the paint and running all over the carpet in the hall and all over the kitchen. Thank god I'm stripping all the flooring other than the bedrooms this week so that shouldn't be an issue.

But I have no hose either in the sink so I already had to take Turd to the groomer over a week ago and they think I'm a nutcase
