I'm staying in Florida for the Hurricane this weekend!
I thought it might be a fun thing to do.
if you care to read. pics will follow. Hurricane Dennis continues to move northwestward across the north central Caribbean. As of 11 a.m. EDT, Dennis was a strong Category 2 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph. Hurricane warnings are in effect for Jamaica, the southwest peninsula of Haiti, the Cayman Islands and both central and eastern Cuba. Hurricane watches are posted for western Cuba and for all of the Florida Keys and Florida Bay. A tropical storm watch is now in effect for the southern peninsula of Florida from Golden Beach to Bonita Beach. Dennis is expected to batter Jamaica today, then continue along the south coast of Cuba. The mountainous areas of Jamaica could pick up between 10 and 20 inches of rain causing flooding and mudslides. By this weekend, Dennis may be a very dangerous hurricane plowing NNW through the eastern Gulf of Mexico. All interests along the Gulf Coast from Louisiana to the west coast of Florida should monitor the progress of Dennis very carefully. |

fucking hurricane! I'm supposed to fly out for Vegas Saturday morning ... I would highly appreciate it if anybody with some spare time, preferrably non-smokers, would spend a few minutes outside blowing in a southerly direction.

A1R3K,
Your more than welcome to come stay with us. We are in the direct path of it in North Florida. You missed out on all the fun last year when the wind guys from IVAN were over 200 Mph.

If you're about to buy a house, it's fortunate when the closing is after the hurricane.
