she will be back in jail on 6 months

Why, if she is in US, how long will she be inside the jail; or simply if it happened here?

In the Michael Jackson trial, there was quite a lot of media muzzling, obviously banning cameras...
In this case, she has served all her time, without any early release or " probation"... So technically, she is now a private citizen as anybody else.
She and her lawyers feels that the media following her every seconds actions is obtrusive and prevents her from reintegrating society....
The judges, in 2 occasions, disagreed. She can always appeal to Superior and/or Supreme court.

well america does it too, i mean hell with the system sometimes and they are out into in a couple of years for what i consider to be serious crimes

You haven't seen a pic of her..she isn't that good looking now.She is seriously fucked in the head and probably will re offend..she has had a relationship with a murderer while in jail.She will probably live a somewhat normal life in Quebec because they don't really follow much of English Canada there..atleast that's what the media states

She is out because they made a deal with her. They wanted her testimony against Bernardo, and they didnt know how much she was involved in the crime.

THEN the tapes came out and they saw that they had made a deal with the devil. In the tapes, she was enjoying raping and killing her own sister.

Now she is out. She didnt pay for her crime enough. The reason she is out, is not because Canada think 12 years is fair. She is out because when her punishment was decided, nobody had seen the tapes.

She will either break parol conditions and end up back in the big house.. or she will get hers on the street.. I personally hope she gets some two fisted justice.

I was living in Quebec during the Bernardo/Homolka trial and let me assure you that it was followed really closely by the french language medias.

It's still followed closely. I think the fact that Homolka was given airtime on CBC's all news French network, RDI, hours after her release proves that.

There is NO parol: she did the FULL 12 years.

She is out, like any other citizen....

She has court ordered restrictions rather, she cannot consort with criminals, she is not allowed to have contact with persons under the age of 16, she has to check in with the police on a regular basis.. she can't leave Quebec with out letting the Police know etc etc.... That is not like any other citizen.

she is having the best of luck i guess.. anyway, we can never really tell if she's going to do something wicked again.. let's just wait and see.. and beware!
