I like my CrackBerry, T-mobile store all over and in most malls. Great price, but I got a big plan. try them both out. I won't speak on the sidekick because I don't have one, but the damn BB is addicting.

The Sidekick is junk. Period. I got it when it first came out, it began to have the following issues shortly thereafter:

1) Low signal, this included when I went into the Cingular store. I had 1 bar all the time.
2) Battery charging was a nightmare. You had to babysit it and ensure it kept charging. I had multiple chargers for my house, car...etc...
3) Address book constantly disappeared. You never knew if you were going to get access to it, very much a crapshoot.
4) A long penetrating crack on the back side of the device and the front screen was crushed.

If you do some searches, you will then find that every one of the problems listed are frequent complaints among users (with the exception of number 4, that happened when I threw it against my floor and stepped on it.)

Blackberry is cool.......But its a toy and nothing more

...If you need a serious business tool....Treo650 is the only way to go

I had a Treo 650 at my last job. Then after I left I got a Sidekick. There were a few things I really liked about the Sidekick, especially it's built in AIM.

However the signal sucked, and it did not have all the same software I could get on the Treo 650. I returned the Sidekick and got a new 650 again.

I considered the Blackberry 7290 & 7250, but the guy at the Cingular store was a fucknut, did not know what he was talking about .. I just walked out on him and went next door to Sprint to pick up the Treo 650 which I knew I already loved.

what is so great about the Treo 650? so far the only thing i can see is that it plays mp3's and has a camera. two things i don't really care for on a phone.

What's so great about it isnt necissarily whats on board....so many programs out there for it. It can basically do whatever your imagination can think of.

I have a trillian like program to take care of instant messaging
1 gig card
mp3 player
Mpeg 4 video player
SSH/FTP access to our servers
excel, word, powerpoint palm equivilants
I have a slip that goes on the back that does GPS for driving and golf course yardage

The list just goes on and on. Its one of those things where its exciting every day just to see what ya find for your treo

Verizon has two new phones that interest me. The new blackbarry and a sidekick copy cat. I was also looking at the Treo. Would love to hear your experiences with these phones.
