wrong.

Acura is in Canada too :)

Yo8u get what you pay for though. The Acura name brings with it beafier motors, better handling and nicer interior. It'd still just spend less and get the Honda version tho.

Not sure what car you drive. But 200 HP for a car that is only 1170 KIlo is a lot. Also it's fast as hell. You proberly never drove it, or did read the reviews on it. Of course a 911 is faster, but the price is much much higher as well...

Here the time it took 2 prof drivers to make a lap on the circuit in Assen

(the time is the average time of the 2 drivers)

I really find it hard to believe a FWD civic-R w/ 200hp could beat the subaru WRX which is AWD and has 227HP. What's teh curb weight?

james_hunk 07-06-2005 12:24 AM

my brother has one! it is indeed a nice car.. i would like to have one in the future.

A v8 is not always faster. Depends on many factors

Stock WRX's are frightfully slow. The AWD system adds at least an additional 800lbs over a comparable coupe, and it takes a hell of a lot more than 27 horses to make up that difference.

Yeah it was not the Sti. It was the WRX(210HP or something) and it weights a lot more then the Civic. Also it was on a circuit, not a slippery track or something

justsexxx 07-08-2005 09:21 AM

White also looks great

How about the new Golf GTI? I am looking into one of those myself - it is an awesome car, maybe a little bit slower than the Type-R but more allround.

It was Topgear's car of the year 2004. If you haven't already you should download these episodes of Fifth Gear and Topgear where it is mentioned:

Fifth Gear - 2004.11.22
Top Gear - 2004.12.05
Top Gear - 2004.12.12

Also a nice car yeah. And topgear loved that car indeed. But it's like 45K USD here. And I don't wanna spend that on a car.

Yeah tell me about it - it's fucking $68k on Danish license plates... The Civic is $58k. Sucks to be a car nut here :helpme

pxxx 07-09-2005 11:40 AM

I don't, but I know a couple of people who does.

Classy Cassie 07-09-2005 11:44 AM

What amazes me about these threads isn't the fact someone is asking about a shitty car. It is the people who admit to owning them that makes me laugh like a banshee! :)

pxxx 07-09-2005 11:48 AM

I think that is a nice cr.

chronic avenger 07-09-2005 11:52 AM

Morgan 07-09-2005 11:53 AM

WarChild 07-10-2005 03:00 AM

Yes because I'm sure you're running around stomping Corvettes regularily with your stock 4cyl.
