War Of The Worlds - SAW IT
I saw it with the office on MOnday,
we got some sort of special passes and of course we went. THe movie isn't bad becuase of Tom Cruise, which is unfortunate, I'd love to make fun of him and blame him. In fact the acting was great, if you like little girls screaming throughout an entire movie. The little girl doesn't stop screaming. There's a bunch of wholes in the plot, the movie makes no sense, and the entire movie is about humans being killed by Alien robots. Yeah ... enjoy |

Thats an honest movie review Rini. From what i udnerstand the effects are good but the ending is week.
Did you know this atupid fact about the movie? While filming in a residential neighborhood in Howell, New Jersey, residents lined up for autographs. Tom Cruise said if anyone pushed or shoved or acted rudely he would stop immediately. One woman pushed her way through and Cruise stopped, just like he warned. and While scenes were being shot at the riverbank on Connecticut River, in Windsor, Connecticut, two life sized mannequins being used as extras had gotten free and drifted into the river. The production's water safety crew performed a search but weren't able to recover the mannequins. Police departments along the river were notified of the missing, according to Windsor police Lt. Shannon Haynes who said "We just wanted them to know that if they got any calls about bodies floating in the river." heheh

He's really got the best actor award in this film. Even Tim Robbins who has a role can't hold a candle to Tommy boy. You'll like it, I was just really fucking disappointed with the way some parts took place... and you have absolutely no concept of time in this movie... unless you count the hair growth on their faces...but I'm almost certain they shave... don't remember.. the special effect were by far the best i have ever seen. |
