2257-compliance.com announces licensed version of its software solution
Seattle ? 2257-Compliance.com, the first to announce a solution for compliance with the new 2257 regulations issued by the Department of Justice, announced today that it is releasing a licensed version of its comprehensive compliance solution. 2257 Compliance.com?s initial offering was for a remote service only.
?We?re offering the licensed version in response to market demand,? says Quentin Boyer, Vice-President of Marketing. ?A significant number of people who evaluated the product told us that they would love to see our solution available to them for in-house use. We listened and responded.? The product, TrueCompliance, offers a comprehensive, fully-compliant solution to producers, allowing them to adhere to the rigid record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. 2257 and 28 CFR Part 75. TrueCompliance is designed to ensure that records maintained by producers strictly conform to the new regulations by assuring the creation and storage of those records are separate from all other records of the producer, and that all the required indexing and cross-indexing of records is maintained in a fully automated fashion. ?We have been asked by numerous reviewers of the product if we intend to create a Content Management Solution,? continues Boyer, ?and the answer is ?No.? We would love to, but we simply can?t. The regulations specifically require that all 2257 records must be ?segregated from all other records, and shall not be contained within any other records.? If we were to add a Content Management feature to the product, our customers would be in immediate violation of section 75.1(e) of the regulations.? Boyer went on to explain that 2257-Compliance.com hasn?t rushed its product to market, even though they were the first to announce a solution. ?We wanted to ensure that it went though a rigorous testing process, and we solicited and accepted recommendations from our beta group for enhancements. As a result, we have a stronger product, which satisfies all the complex cross-referencing requirements, but is still intuitive and easy to navigate.? For information about acquiring the product, or for a demo account on 2257 Complaince.com?s remote server, contact [email protected]. Quentin Boyer can be reached at [email protected].
