People may think your crazy, People might bust your balls about spelling, but I'll be damned if that wasn't the best post in this thread. I for one would like to know where the other programs stand. And I agreee Mark our industry is infested with dimestore hustlers. but in the end of it all the hustler will hustle and the honest business man will be hurt. It will take a few years for most to see that ( insert name here) isn't a "stand up guy :thumbsup :thumbsup " and truthfully most couldn't give 2 squirts of piss if the guy makes them a couple hundred in the process. .xxx is not going to fix the industry woes. There are only a handful of people/companies that can fix the problems of the industry. In truth they shouldn't have to /won't take on the burden that would be Epoch and CCBill . If they cut off the scammers ability to process, 80% of the true scum would be done, and the leeches that hang on for the above mentioned couple hundred dollars would go back to spamming the gaming forums with auto installers and leave our industry alone. |
Man, cool out, you'll get a lot more business.

I have read only one other programs owners official statement and position on .xxx.
That would be Lensman. Bold as it was it was a stance. A stance I concur with now. To bad everyone else thinks that its to controversial to confront or take a postion on. I am glad to see a few "Bold" folks step forward on the matter as an official postion regarding .xxx. But then it is what separates the boys from the men. |
Speaking of "bold" and off topic, AlienQ your ( hehehe) a designer and I know their are a few designers in this thread.
In re: to sigs. Why would a designer fly a sig for a program he has not designed for?? Wouldn't a good designer be confident in his works ability to convert, draw the eye of the potential affilliate ect...... enough to promote something they had a part in building??? Just curious. |

But then again, if you spent half as much time paying attention to what was really going on as you do listening to those voices in your head telling you to make a fool of yourself yet again, you'd probably not make such a fool of yourself. |

You're a fucking idiot. In the post you quoted alienq used the proper "your" spelling. Damn you sheep. |

Let me guess you and Jason met and he cut you in too? Wow....lots of pie to go around, maybe we should step up to the table for some "payoff money too" ....maybe it might be the right thing to do? Sell all my fellow program owners and webmasters out, with one single greedy action.......hmmm maybe not. I am one of those types of people that dont play that game... Dont know just other day, it seemed you understood what this meant down the road....not sure why or what? Maybe a move to China or a country that can tell you what you can and cant see might be good for you and those who support this fucking load of shit called .XXX |
Sorry Mike.
I respect your thoughts on the matter. I didnt hit my head. Logic is the only way to deduce my decision. Legit companies are faced against those that use this industry to hurt our audiences. We have seen it for years on how fast people come in and leave honest companies holding the bag. From Fraud to spam. .XXX is a very tough pill for the biz but something has to be done. Self imposed regulation and some branding to the audience that .xxx will be fair on the credit card will go a long way. The consumer has lost all faith in the industry. The numbers reduce daily as the proliferation of adult becomes more and more free for less and less money. The mis use of adult into Search Engines, Mail Boxes via spam imposing adult into the eyes of those that do not want it has to end by self regulation. No 2257 Law will stop it, no government will stop it but self regulation will do the trick. Outing the abusers of this industry must happen. Would Credit Card Companies be so harsh on adult companies if adult "Companies" did not abuse the consumers? I hav said it before that I would support .XXX if it built a defense. Well in a way I believe it is proposing a defense. A defense against the industries own implosion unimpeded by basic principals of business and ethics. |

Maybe they need you to sell it to all of us...cause the "protection of children thing" to seel this deal makes me want to fucking puke..... Makes zero sense to me....if its so good as you said it is, lets see all the people hiding in the shadows come forward and correct me and EVERYONE else that knows this is a shitty deal. Not good. |
The guys hiding in shadows.
Well... They have already spoken. How many companies have come forward with an official positions? TCG, GIGA, CE, EPIC, SHAW INC, PD, HUSTLER, Platinum bucks, StiffyCash WEGCASH and the other 30 or so companies in the very rotation of GFY. The silence is defening from MOST parties already. NO man has come to me to change my mind. Made it on my own. Though I wish I got a cut of cash for all my opinions and thoughts... It does not work that way. |

.xxx won't change shit about the public's perceptions. It's a TLD like any other - there will be just as much of the same practices on it as anywhere else and there's no way to regulate it efficiently. Who's going to pay millions to the web police to check the tens of thousands of sites each week to make sure they're not prechecking cross sells? lol. Nothing you've said so far is in the least logically consistent or tenable. |

I do not think ya have read the details. Do not claim you have. When obviously you have not. Ya sound almost like an endorsement of .xxx to me though with that statement. Apathy rocks but I still think you should read up and make an intelligent decision. |

Well thats whats different Bhuto about .xxx.
Its not been attempted before. You can sit as program owner and contend with those that damage this industry or go for a level playing field. Self Regulation has a chance at working. Even if it does not work at least some people tried. As it stands right now though Adult Internet is very awry in my opinion. I will always be able to deal with .xxx or not. However it is a change that I think can make a difference in combating rogues that hurt the legitamacy of this industry. |
glad to see such a serious business thread is getting equal responses :1orglaugh
