How do you keep yourselves fit?

Other than a cigar here and there following rocket/mortar attacks in Vietnam, I've never been a smoker. I drink socially, attempting to ingest stouts and other darker beers, and red wine (but I do NOT drink anything alcoholic the night before doing a sex scene). I do a jog/brisk-walk of 4-6 miles almost every day, plus another 2-3 miles whenever I join up with the Hash House Harriers (a beer-drinking club with a running problem), which is usually 2-4 times a week. I masturbate 1-4 times a day, but never the night before doing in a sex scene. My legs and right hand are in good shape for being 65 years old, but now I need to lose this blubber around my mid-section!

Im working out like 3 times a week... and trying to eat less fast food ...:)

dank 06-27-2005 03:22 PM

I'm in pretty good shape. I meditate for 30 minutes each day, drink only natural unsweetened greentea and eat sticky rice.

Then I practice my kung fu forms...but I cant seem to get rid of this Bhudda belly I have.

sweetME 06-27-2005 03:35 PM

I work in front of the computer, so I don't move a lot, I eat mostly unhealthy and I watch a lot of movies when I go home. That's how I keep it in shape.

High Plains Drifter 06-27-2005 03:45 PM

I do a half hour yoga workout every day and go to the gym and hit the free-weights about four times a week. This has turned me into a chiseled adonis that the women adore.

FilthyRob 06-27-2005 03:52 PM

I need to do something besides what I do now, Nothing

Tala 06-27-2005 03:54 PM

fuck.

I have a terrible sweet tooth. That's my biggest downfall.

*sigh*

At least there's no fast food here to be had. At least none that I'm willing to risk driving for.

My metabolism isn't that high. I think once things finally settle down I'll start in on some exercise, maybe go surfing in the ocean nearby. But oh, the fun of stress.

austinth 06-27-2005 03:59 PM

I eat clean except for 1 day on the weekends. No sugar is the key, so cut out the pop and other goodies or drinks with that stuff in it. I also hit the gym 5 days per week and do a min. of 40 minutes of cardio and the core exercises like pull ups, dips, pushups, abs 3 x per week as well as some shoulder exercises and calve exercises.

If you drink, then do it low carb. ie vodka and sodawater with a lime or use fresca instead of pop or cranberry juice. also the new smirnoff ice ultra 1 is pretty good, low carb and 1 gram of sugar.

Babagirls 06-27-2005 04:14 PM

i drink green tea 3-5 times a day, gym every other day (for 30-45 mins of cardio), no fast food, no soda, and foods that dont have trans fat in them.

Steve 06-27-2005 04:14 PM

I keep in shape - a ROUND shape

Vitasoy 06-27-2005 07:38 PM

I've been playing some tennis.

reynold 06-27-2005 08:50 PM

Tennis and swimming are good exercise for me.

Spunky 06-27-2005 08:52 PM

Cut down on all the junk food and carbs..no pop

MikeXAMO 06-27-2005 08:56 PM

cut the soft drinks almost completely, and drink more water.. get your ass a gym membership or play some pickup games at the local b-ball court

BigBen 06-27-2005 09:02 PM

Punching bag lately. It's a good workout going against a 100lb heavy bag for 20-30 minutes.

I pretty much stopped drinking soda as well. A lot easier than I thought especially with how much I used to drink. Find a bottle of water you like and you won't even want the soda anymore. Keeps off a couple hundred calories a day.

pornkitten 06-27-2005 09:09 PM

I do 100-500 sit ups a day. I set a goal of at least 100 but I always end up doing all 500. It gets easier everyday/ I stopped eating all junk food except I love chocolate milk so I drink fat free. Also I use tons of lotion so my skin is soft and my body is tight.

DWB 06-27-2005 09:24 PM

30 mins cardio, 5x a week first thing in the morning when I wake up on an empty stomach.

Eat lean, drink lots of water and take a fat burner. Hydoxycuts with ephedrine was the shit but you can't get it anyore.

I will do this until I get to where I want to be. They I will eat like shit and gain it all back and start all over.

pretty good advice.

fad diets are not necessarily the answer.

it's physics and keeping your metabolisim working. first, lose weight by having many little handfuls of food everytime you are hungry, rather than 3 big sitdown meals.

1. do a bmi based on your sex, age, weight, and height.

2. find your caloric intake required for basic maintenance based on your current activity level

3. now count calories eating good type calories not empty calories and try to stay 500 calories under your required basic maintenance calorie requirements.

4. subtract any exercise calories based on your duration and time done.

try to lose only 1-2 pounds/week if you want to keep it off.

i recommend 45 mins- 1 hour exercise per day to burn off 300-400 calories.

(bicycling is what i do). this gives you a hard slim body, allows you to fuck a long time at any age, and you can eat big solid meals without starving yourself.

webmaster lifestyle is very bad sitting in front of monitor all day---very bad.

now do something about it.

Tala 06-27-2005 09:42 PM

Wait. I'm in shape. Round is a shape.

wdforty 06-27-2005 09:52 PM

I got a bike the other day and try to ride an hour ever second day..

I gave up smoking 6 months ago and loving it!

venus 06-27-2005 10:31 PM

I have a small gym in one of my spare bed rooms, treadmill, smith machine, free weights and such... I usually do weights and run plus work with my horses every morning

WoW! 06-27-2005 10:35 PM

Cycling fanatic. I train 250-300 miles weekly. My fitness level is at Category 2 as in road bike racer.
I eat everything I can stuff in my mouth and then some.
All fine and dandy except my taint is bruised :Oh crap

My beautiful Aero bike, The love of my life
http://www-search.com/wayne/mikesbike.jpg

Seriously, if you spin on a road bike you will automatically lose weight, get fit and have a heightened sense of what goes into your body. The beauty is that if you simply ride first, the weight loss and diet comes naturally.

Try cycling if you are concerned about your health/weight. It's fun and addicting. And don't forget to watch the Tour De France this year!

Redbull and sex. Great combination for keeping fit.

Philosophically, I believe that all men and women need sex on a daily basis.

What he said and more...

I usually serve up tequilla to my horny girfriends and have a lot of sex when we are sloppy drunk... it lasts for hours :thumbsup

Plus I cut way back on what was once multiple times a day weed smoking. I dropped thirty-five pounds so far and gained a fair amount of muscle so the hard work is paying off. I actually feel great now physically and mentally too. I started a boxing class at my gym a couple of weeks ago and that was fun until one overzealous strong guy punched me in the side with a right hook in the first class and broke my rib. Hopefully I am almost healed and can get back to lifting again. After going this far I am really into it and am not going to be satisfied until I get a visible six pack :-)

sounds reall good Jim , keep it rockin ! :thumbsup

nicchick 06-27-2005 10:55 PM

I just pound a heavy bag every other day. Ten 2 min. "rounds" with a minute in between each. Great for strength, cardio-vascular, flexibility and self-confidence. Plus if you have any frustration or anxiety issues, believe me this will help work them out.

Interesting Question

Trick is to balance out your Diet and Excercise. I workout 3 times a week.
20 min of cardio ( jogging, spinning , ect ) , then do some sort of weight training
while keeping your heart rate up. Swiss ball is great to do the streches and use that instead of your bench. Goal is to mix things up , so your body doesn't get used to some sort of rythm.

Before I started working out my body fat was 14% , now I am around 8% to 9%

Your Food intake should consist more fruits instead of Chocolates and Icecream.
Lean meat. No Processed food.

For those who like to take protein suppliments, but hate the after taste it leaves
here is a recepie I use. I found this on the men's health magazine and been pretty useful to me.

Fruit Protein Shake (smoothy) ( 414 Cal Total , 65g Protein, 3g Fat)
----------------------------

2 scoops of vanila protein powder
Handful of Blue Berries
Handful of Pineapple Chunks
1/2 Banana
1/2 Tsp crystal light
1% Milk

Blend it and you are good to go

No smoke, alcohol. Pulling some weights 2-3 times a week, racecycling 2-3 times a week.

Brad Mitchell 07-01-2005 08:53 AM

So when I turn the Big 3-0 in September, I can expect my body to go to hell if I don't start doing something.

I thought lifting Redbull cans was excellent exercise.
