There was a time where stories like what you're describing would go for $50 each, exclusive rights. Now, though, people who do the work so cheaply have made it almost insanely cheap. Not too long ago I had someone tell me he could get it for $10/per.
I told him go for it, but don't ask me to do the editing. You get what you pay for, I'm afraid.

Or were you referring to the stories being exclusive instead of being sold in volume? I guess i should look into that as an option too. I vaguely remember seeing a site mentioned here a while ago that sold stories on behalf of others for a cut of the revenue. The price you can get usually depends on the subject matter and the quality of the writing.
