Will ASACPs statement on CP have any effect on 2257 ?

For anyone who missed it, ASACPs statement is here.http://xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=9271
In your opinions, will this have any effect on the upcoming court rulings on the new 2257 regs? It appears that ASACPs data, blows the DOJs arguments out of the water and that the FSC lawyers have just been given a gift. Or on the other hand, will any judge have the guts to rule against the new regs at the risk of looking like he is "soft" in the war against child pornography ?

The DOJ.. unless that are totally blind from jerking off - already know that "adult" does not equal "CP".

They have been totally blind since the introduction of the original version of 2257 - so blind that they have never seen the need to instigate one single action.

This is not about CP :-)

I'll add.... There are already several laws in place to prosecute pedos and CP purveyors - far more effective and carrying higher jail terms than even the "new" 2257.

All they have to do is act on these laws and quit talking.
