New Dream Theater .. Octavarium
Anyone grab this yet?
it's not bad. Very smooth. More mellow singing. The guitars are pretty fusionish but can get deathly heavy at times. All in all, I like it, My fav so far is "I Walk Beside You" |

Cool. Glad to hear there isn't as much rap style vocals on this one. That was my main beef with ToT - plus many solos were too meedley meedley meedley (Petrucci is better than that).

I just got this in from Amazon. It's great music. I love DT.
I also grabbed "An Evening With John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess", a live performance of guiter and piano. It's a very interesting mix, and of course, a stellar performance. |
