For me it is meatloaf, mashed potatos, brown gravy, and fried green beans with bacon, garlic, and onions.

california burrito : french fries, carne asada chunks, cheese, and sour cream wrapped in a flour and lard tortilla. served with fresh hot sauce.

don't know if it's comfort food but today after been with nasty flu for 3 days I felt a bit better so I treated myself with mild peri-peri chicken, spicy rice, and a good bottle of red wine (I had only two glasses so far but I am not done yet)
