Please help keep this on the front page so guys know what is going on. I AGAIN confirmed this with Michelle tonight. After this all clears the FSC will figure out more accurate membership rates for web sites. the important thing right now is just to join period and send as much as you can.

I joined yesterday for $50 under my name, but joined again today for $300 under my business name. The guy on the phone could not speak english very well, and when I told him I was a webmaster he didn't know what to charge, so I just told him to charge me the $300. It's going to a good cause anyway.

It does bother me that I didn't get a conformation number or conformation email, and my CC has not been billed for either membership.

I just got off the phone with Jeffrey Douglas, FSC Board chair and attorney. He said, if you joined FSC as an individual, your websites are not covered. You have to sign up for membership as a company, and pay according to your annual sales volume, the dues for which can be found here:

Membership fees are set by the board of directors. If you want to donate you can donate whatever you want. They are not the same thing. FSC is a trade group, not a charity.
