I would buy one in Australia or wherever you bought your appliances unless they are over $100.
You can find them here but most are for Americans travelling overseas so make sure it has universal input/output plug capacity. It should also have step up/down and auto voltage detection so you don't have to remember to change switches. For your laptop, camcorder,digital camera charger you don't even need one usually. All you need is to buy the part of the cable that goes from the wall to the adaptor (~$10) and switch it out with your "foreign" one as 99% of those adaptors are auto sensing and will adjust to 110 to 240. |
