ya - i presumed that - but if he wanted to take his chances there, and he got caught - I'm sure it would divert some of the anti-adult media attention away from the USA

Costa Rica. Tamarindo (Pacific Coast) Escazu (near San Jose). Both are fairly Americanized. You have to keep in mind that it's not the US. Takes a little time to get used to, but it's one of the best places in Central/South America. Also, there are lot's of opportunities for business outside of adult.

I am also hearing a lot of good things lately about Nicaragua. It's cheaper living than CR and you can still buy oceanfront property for 50-80k
