Right now I'm looking at some galleries. They seem to be more likely to be compliant than the site, but not by much. The ones that do TRY are often woefully insufficinet. Most don't even LINK the statement. They say go here and list a url but do not link it. Second the type is often too small. I know many of thsoe 2257 statements/links are not 12 point type. Hell I even saw an ANIME galley with a 257 statement and they are exempt. Geez. I like to know how he got 2257 docs on a cartoon.

There are a lot of non complaint paysites as well. So far CyberErotica is the only company I've found following the regulations precisely, atleast in regards to the compliance statement.

The site does not need docs. If they are exempt, they must have a 2257 compliance statement saying that they are exempt.

Well I would assume most paysites would be better at complying. Even those frees ites/galleries that are trying too can't even get something as simple as FONT SIZE or COLOR right.

Sec. 75.6(e): "For the purposes of this section, the required [2257] statement shall be displayed in typeface that is no less than 12-point type or no smaller than the second-largest typeface on the material and in a color that clearly contrasts with the background color of the material."

fuck no. not yet at least. i've changed content & banners on alot of my galleries that were hardcore but i mainly push softcore so its not that big of a deal for me to stress over. and my freesites are tied to those galleries so i kinda killed '2 birds with 1 stone' there. i still have a few domains that i need to fix the index pages though.

The 2257 statement they have is in the smallest font size possible. Not a 12pt font.
