Dark water (Honogurai mizu no soko kara ) is fucking scary! Those japs know how to build up and scare the shit out of ya.
The eye (Jian gui) is also very good. There were moments in that movie where i almost got a heartattack. no kiddin. This might be a chinese movie, not sure...

Not really a horror, more of a slasher.. but Ichi the killer is a good film.

A Different Heaven, that was a real good one

wish I could remember the title of this one about jewel thieves, the Yakuza, and government created zombies - that one was more along the lines of the Evil Dead, gory as hell.
