Do you think this makes ANY sponsor happy? By not giving out ID's and the like, they stand to lose money as well. Their are some sponsors that have made the very dangerous decision of giving out id's . Some are giving out some form of id's ( alterd or encryted) , and those who are playing it safe for everyone, Model, affiliate, and program have for the most part adopted the policy of softcore content only.

Getting pissed about not getting doc's from a sponsor who allowed you into this business with such a low bar of entry a.k.a FREE content, Free hosting, ect is stupid. While I agree you have "worked" but without their tools you will have had ZERO money lifetime to date, so get a grip and adjust. There are plenty of affiliates to take your place. Ones who will have the skills to sell with the tools they are given.

This is really simple.. First off privacy is more important that a webmasters paycheck. Now if the webmaster wants me to post and give out their private information to anyone who asks, I can do that.

Lets not forget the amount of sponsors that have purchased 1000?s of dollars in content just to find out that the producers won?t give out ID?s so we can?t give out ID?s either. Or the amount of producers that aren?t in business anymore to get the ID?s from, even exclusive shot content. Or International providers that we can?t use the content from anymore.

So now we have to pass out ID?s to 1000?s of webmasters that send a few sales a week to a few sales a day. Just to make a few people happy.

We have to change everything we are doing, remove content, buy new content, etc. 100's of man hours just to be ready. Just getting this crap ready for the 10k+ sets of content we have, and yet you come here and bitch about your 9k pages that you have to change. Most sponsors have more photo sets than you have pages.

Please, move on and bitch to someone who cares. It's as much work for us as it is for you. You knew the regs changed and you knew not everyone was going to give out ID's. You should have started to change before yesterday.

I applaud all the sponsors who've taken the time to work with their affiliates on 2257. There's still many sponsors out there, who never post in here, where you won't get a response to anything no matter how many times you ICQ/-email them. I still don't think that this 2257 change will do anything since it's unenforceable. Regardless, a lot of sponsors have stepped up to the plate on this for affiliates and I'm gonnna comply even though I know this law holds no water.

That said anyone looking for a new Affiliate program hit me up... from my understanding if we host the images then 2257 is our problem and all you need is our basic Custodian of Records info.

We have tons of exclusive content and hosted galleries / tours. All you need to do is signup use the hosted content and ask for the Custodian of Records info. and I'll be more then happy to send it to you.

I know this doesn't help everyone out and for the people it doesnt help drop me an email or hit me up on ICQ and lets see if we cant work something out that makes everyone happy.

Take a deep breath and replace your banners with text links for now. You can also redirect pages to a main traffic page. For now.

Sponsors are working fast and furiously to become compliant according to the law as it is scheduled to go into effect on Thursday. They have to consult with their attorneys on the best way to accomplish the near impossible in only a few weeks. Some of these sponsors are huge and have to make changes based on what their lawyers advise and how cooperative certain content providers are. There are companies out of business and certain content might have to be put aside.

True. Some sponsors could have done a better job informing the people that helped spread their word. Just something simple like 'what is up'. But honestly, he only has himself to blame if he didn't see it coming. The writing was on the wall from day one. Waiting for sponsors to spoon-feed you has been the wrong choice all along.

In cases of extreme severity as the coming regulations and when earning a living is at stake, one must have plan a, plan b, plan c and the entire greek alphabet at one's disposal.

mostly soft but i have some hardcore gallery too
